The first volume of Aquinas' Opera Omnia: Explanation of “Politics”

The first volume in the series, although numbered 43, is the Explanation of the “Politics.” We will hear about the origins of the tradition of commenting on great works, why Aristotle's works were so important to St. Thomas Aquinas, and what Christians can learn from them.

Mateusz Przanowski OP, Director of our Thomistic Institute in Służew, presents the first volume of the Opera Omnia series by St. Thomas Aquinas, which he translated himself. It is St. Thomas' commentary on Aristotle's Politics.

The project of translating into Polish and publishing in print the complete works of Thomas Aquinas includes the publication of one hundred works by the author, the authenticity of which has been confirmed. The work is planned as a translation, editing, and publishing process lasting several years.
